Mark Appel with some impressive numbers in the early going of his senior season. 2-1 W-L 1.17 e.r.a. 2 cg 1 sho 23 IP 13 h 6 r 3 er 5 bb 28 so .165 baa. Personally I am high on Appel with the #2 pick in the upcoming draft if Houston passes on him. Mark's last game was against the University of Texas, CG shutout with 14 K's. Any chance if he continues this and we draft him he could be that top of the rotation sp the Cubs are looking for??
