So let's see what rumor will come out about any Cubs / Yankees trade discussion for Alfonso Soriano. According to reports, the Yankees will pay $10 million for 2 years of Vernon Wells. We still don't know what player(s) the Yankees will send to the Angels to complete the trade. Why would the Yankees gamble $10million on a declining player like Vernon Wells is, when they could have had a better player for probably the same about of money in Alfonso Soriano. Either Theo and company truly believe the Cubs need Soriano in 2013, or he was asking for too much in exchange for Soriano? Can't believe Cashman thinks Vernon Wells is better Alfonso Soriano.
