You are reading this because it's gotten to 11:30 CT and Major League Baseball (who has the call because it's the only series between the teams) has not yet postponed today's game.
I understand all the issues: logistics, scheduling, travel, not wanting to lose the revenue from a date.
Still, at a certain point, the weather is going to win today. I know the drainage system at Wrigley Field can handle a lot of rain, even this much, but there comes a point at which you have to say, "Are these conditions conducive to baseball?" I'm thinking the answer today is, "No."
There's the further issue of roads closed by flooding; it's possible that some game-day employees of the Cubs might not have been able to get to Wrigley today, or have flooded basements.
I'm waiting this out at home until it's clear that they're actually going to play baseball this afternoon.

Carlos Villanueva is off to an excellent start this year, far better than we might have imagined. Last year, he had a good outing against the Rangers August 18 in Toronto, throwing 6⅓ innings and allowing just four hits and two runs. Even for an offensively-challenged squad like this year's Cubs, maybe that'd be enough.
Alexi Ogando has never faced the Cubs. Current Cubs are 1-for-3 against him, which can be disregarded. He's off to a great start this year. I think you know what that means.
Today's game is on WGN.
Here's the scoop on game threads for 2013. You'll find the game preview -- like this one -- posting as the first link in the StoryStream™, which will then contain all the overflow threads and the recap. The recap will also be on the front page as a separate post; once I post a game recap, the stream for each game will be retitled "Cubs vs. (Team) (Day of Week) Game Threads" so you can go back and find every thread related to that particular game.
In general, game previews will post two hours before game time. Exception: for day games after night games, that will usually be 90 minutes.
As has been the case during spring training, you will also be able to find the First Pitch Thread and all the overflow threads in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page (you can also find them in this section link). They will also appear in this StoryStream™. As I've done for each regular-season game for several years now, we'll have the First Pitch thread at five minutes before game time (moved up from actual game time per your requests), then an overflow one hour, two hours and 2:45 after game time.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
