Before you attack me, I'm not saying I think we shouod have kept Hendry or that I disagree with the complete rebuild. The rebuild is way overdue, was never done well from the ground up since Dallas Green. What I am saying is that the days of Prior/Wood/Zambrano/Clement/Maddux and having actual stars like A-Ram (fleeced pirates for him), D-Lee (Fleeced Marlims for him), Soriano (when he was actually highly productive), Alou and he did draft some of our current top prospects. Now there were some head scratchers and there were some deals that weren't awful but I'd like to have back (Garza deal).
So far, and its too early to be sure, I like how Theo has drafted handily over Hendry. However, I hope Ricketts doesn't hamstring Theo into running the Cubs like Chicago is a 2nd tier market and ONLY draft & bargain hunt.
