Can the 2014 Cubs be the 1991 Braves?

The Braves suffered 7 consecutive losing seasons from 1984 thru 1990 before winning 14 consecutive division titles. The Cubs have only had 4 consecutive losing seasons from 2010 thru 2013, so I hope that we don't have to suffer 3 more before things finally turn around. I also hope that we can win more than one World Series, unlike the Braves.

The Braves won/loss records from 1984 thru 1990 were 80-82, 66-96, 72-89, 69-92, 54-106, 63-97 and 65-97, while the Cubs have gone 75-87, 71-91, 61-101 and 66-96 from 2010 thru 2013. Are the 2014 Cubs any less likely to win their division and make it to the World Series than the 1991 Braves were 23 years ago?

Maybe the 2014 Cubs are more like the 1990 Braves and that the 2015 Cubs can be the 1991 Braves? I do think that we will be similar to the Braves in that when we do finally become winners, we will be able to maintain it for more than a decade, although if we only end up winning one World Series, then I will be disappointed.
