I'm kind of sad to see that Scott Baker is not going to resign. After spending the cash to bring him last year, and showing a flash in the pan that he may be back in MLB form, makes me kind of sad. I feel we could use a guy like him around still. I wonder if he is looking for that 32 year old servicable contract that pays around $10M and the Cubs are not willing to spend that kind of cash. We gave him $5.5M to start 3 games for us last year. Why completely let him walk?
