Garza Passed On Angels' Offer Because He Was On Vacation

I can't be bothered. It is what it is.

Apparently Matt Garza is a Milwaukee Brewer as opposed to a Los Angeles Angel from Anaheim because when the Angels made their four year, 52 million dollar offer he was on a vacation overseas with his wife and did not want to be disturbed. I don't know about anyone else, but if this is true, if I'm the Angels, given his rather lax attitude towards finding and impressing a future employer, I'd think I'd dodged a bullet here. More than kind of a jerk.

He eventually signed with the Brewers for 4/50 as opposed to the 4/52 the Angels offered.
