I haven't seen it really discussed, I imagine because it's a negative thing. But regardless of how Rizzo turns out, losing Cashner is looking like a bad mistake of the front office.
It appears he has top of the rotation major league stuff, and right now is probably one of the best young major leaguer pitchers.
When the trade was made, I thought it was an obvious win for us. But as time has gone on, it looks like the padres knew what they were doing.
