Dying in front of the idiot box

This year I'm attending the Jays series, September in Toronto. Next March, I'll be in Mesa to see them in spring training. In short, I'm your average obsessed, Cubs eccentric. I back the rebuild. Patience is a virtue, I'm told, but mine is wearing mighty thin watching the Cubs double A outfield 0 for, every game. It is the worst collection of crap, ever to don a major league uniform. The rest of the team, though not great is at least respectable. Season ticket holders must be absolutely beside themselves putting up with this. Soriano for Black. Don't like it one bit. Black may eventually turn out alright, if he learns to throw strikes. My point is Soriano was here and could have helped the Cubs. They didn't have to trade him last year. They could have done it just as easily this year while giving us some semblance of a major leaguer playing in our OF. If Theo had to save $5 million on Soriano he could have used it towards replacing him with something tangible, rather than just putting it in his pocket. By September, when I go see them in TO hopefully. one or 2 of the core 4 will be up. Until then it appears it is going to be a long hot summer on the north side. The Cubs don't deserve me, but they're still the prettiest girl at the dance.
