How many people can go to their boss and tell them that they are going to be horrible for 5 to 10 years and still be employed?
As a lifelong Cubs fan I find it incredibly difficult to understand how a few roof top owners can hold up a major sports franchise from doing anything. Take them to court until their money runs out and then settle or just settle out of court and call it a day. How can few people hold up Chicago's premiere sports team?
Kris Bryant could "dominate" AA and hit 60 homers and he still would not be called up to the MLB team.
Sorry for the disjointed post but as a lifelong fan it is becoming harder and harder to not be disenchanted by a franchise that is going to be horrible for a while. Does anyone have any answers?
