Busy weekend for both me and the Cubs... playing a little bit of catch-up here. (EDITOR'S NOTE: H&G for Sunday's game will be along a bit later in the evening.)

Writer's Note: The daily selections of the three Heroes and three Goats are based solely on the top three and bottom three WPA scores for the game. The selections are not based on my subjective opinion.
THE THREE HEROES:
- Superhero - Welington Castillo (.019). Got his single in before the game became a blowout.
- Hero - Chris Coghlan (.017). See Castillo, Welington.
- Sidekick - Wesley Wright (.000). Pulling executive decision out for this one; of the five players who had a zero WPA, his performance was the best.
THE THREE GOATS:
- Billy Goat - Carlos Villanueva (-.234). Maybe he wasn't stretched out. Maybe he was just deflated by the trade. Maybe he's just bad. Who knows for sure.
- Goat - Chris Rusin (-.093). Maybe he was just tired from the late flight. Maybe I've used too many "maybe"s. (That's probably true.)
- Kid - Darwin Barney (-.047). Only one time all game that the Cubs had a runner in scoring position and Barney left him there.
UPDATED RANKINGS THROUGH GAME 85 (Changes in Bold): A few extra notations for the updated rankings.
x - Player not on 25-man roster.
y - Player not on 40-man roster.
z - Player no longer with Cubs.

Castillo and Coghlan make the Hero podium almost by default, while Villanueva and Rusin lock everything into place.
