Lost in the nuclear meltdown by the Cubs' bullpen was the homer by Chris Coghlan, who became the first Cub to hit homers in both games of a doubleheader since Alfonso Soriano did it against the St. Louis Cardinals on September 15, 2007.
Another Fun Fact: The last Cub to do it in Cincinnati? Ron Santo on June 20, 1965.

Writer's Note: The daily selections of the three Heroes and three Goats are based solely on the top three and bottom three WPA scores for the game. The selections are not based on my subjective opinion.
THE THREE HEROES:
- Superhero - Chris Coghlan (.178). A week ago, his OPS was .607. Now, it's .774. Go figure.
- Hero - Tsuyoshi Wada (.132). Had a bit of a shaky fifth inning, but all-in-all a very nice major-league debut, even if it ended as a no-decision for him.
- Sidekick - Mike Olt (.107). The lead should have been safe with his two-run homer, but... no.
THE THREE GOATS (in Reverse Order):
- Kid - Carlos Villanueva (-.083). Made a pretty big mess out of the seventh inning but somehow got out of it. And then there was...
- Goat - Pedro Strop (-.225). Two batters in, and the lead was gone. Which then led to...
- Billy Goat - Hector Rondon (-.377). Snakebit yet again by a bloop single and a broken-bat hit. I'm a bit dumbfounded by all of it.
UPDATED RANKINGS THROUGH GAME 89 (Changes in Bold, Notations Below):
x - Player not on 25-man roster.
y - Player not on 40-man roster.
z - Player no longer with Cubs.

Wada makes the Hero board in his debut with a second-place finish, while the bullpen takes all three Goat positions in a landslide.
