Most observers thought Chris Rusin would be the Chicago Cub sent back to Triple-A Iowa to make room for recently-acquired Jacob Turner. In fact, that has happened, but according to this, there's one more move that has to happen today:
Ramirez back from DL. Rusin to Iowa. Turner on roster and one move to come.

"Ramirez," of course, is righthanded reliever Neil Ramirez, who was having a fine year when given a DL stint, ostensibly to rest a sore triceps. Hopefully, it was nothing serious and Ramirez can step right back into action.
Because two players were added and (so far) only one has been removed, the Cubs will have to remove one more player -- likely a pitcher -- from the 25-man roster before Sunday's game. A prime candidate might be Brian Schlitter, who's been somewhat overworked and could use the same "rest" that Ramirez received. Or Schlitter could be headed to the disabled list.
We await developments, as always.
