So, uh, about that bullpen... maybe David Ross needs to be the long guy from now on.

Writer's Note: The daily selections of the three Heroes and three Goats are based solely on the top three and bottom three WPA scores for the game. The selections are not based on my subjective opinion.
THE THREE HEROES:
- Superhero - Kris Bryant (.194). Now that he's finally hit his first homer, what are all of the beat writers going to write about?
- Hero - Starlin Castro (.057). Singled in a run before the flood gates opened.
- Sidekick - Dexter Fowler (.049). Probably would have had the second step had his double in the second inning not jammed itself under the padding in left-center.
THE THREE GOATS:
A single bump in Saturday's game as Travis Wood's -.068 hitting was moved out. That's the 10th bump this season, all from the Goats. And the person who moved up was the last person in the world that needed to see the Goat podium again.
- Billy Goat - Travis Wood (-.530). Every time the Cubs got close (or got ahead), Wood ended up letting it get a little further away.
- Goat - Edwin Jackson (-.121). A quick synopsis of the fifth inning: Well, that sucked.
- Kid - Chris Coghlan (-.048). Remember the movie "Tin Cup" where Kevin Costner's on the final hole of the U.S. Open and keeps on firing ball after ball into the water? That's kinda what this feels like right now with Coghlan.
