A quick recap of the top spots from Monday's 4-3 Cubs win over the Mets:
Superhero - Zac Rosscup (.201). Fan voting obviously goes to Kris Bryant for the first homer deposited in the new bleachers. Rosscup earned the WPA edge by coming into the eighth with a runner on first and not letting him score in a tight game.
Billy Goat - Starlin Castro (-.058). Amazingly enough, it didn't include a double play. But there were two grounders to the left side of the infield, though.
And now, on to Tuesday's 6-1 win:

Writer's Note: The daily selections of the three Heroes and three Goats are based solely on the top three and bottom three WPA scores for the game. The selections are not based on my subjective opinion.
THE THREE HEROES:
- Superhero - Jake Arrieta (.361). His game score of 80 is the second-best this season by a Cub pitcher behind only Jason Hammel's 81 on April 27 against Pittsburgh.
- Hero - Starlin Castro (.134). Earned big points for driving in the first run of the game in the sixth inning.
- Sidekick - Holy schnikes... it's... Chris Coghlan (.105)!! I'm feeling a bit faint.
As for the question I'm sure everyone is wondering about... how did Kris Bryant get three hits and not only not make the podium, but not even come close (.049)? The answer: Two of the hits came with two outs and no one on, and the homer came in the eighth inning of a game that was 5-1 when he hit it. It's all about the timing, folks. And yes, he's still a beast.
THE THREE GOATS:
Both the Monday and Tuesday games had pitcher bumps as Jon Lester's -.042 and Jake Arrieta's -.066 hitting were moved out. That's now 12 bumps in 32 games, all from the Goat side. The update point tallies from the pitchers: Arrieta -9, Lester -7, Travis Wood -7, Jason Hammel -2, Kyle Hendricks -1.
- Billy Goat - Dexter Fowler (-.056). The only 0-for-4 performance of the night, other than Arrieta.
- Goat - Addison Russell (-.044). The positive news continues to be that he's reached base safely in 15 consecutive games.
- Kid - Miguel Montero (-.023). The whiff stranding two in the fifth earned him the final stair on the podium.

The top and bottom of the plus/minus chart remain unchanged with Rizzo and Bryant leading the way and Coghlan finding a glimmer of light from the cellar.
