This is ridiculous

Did anyone see this?

Is this not the typical White Sox attitude.
There must be a conspiracy against us, they can't beat us fair and square.  Not to mention that the group on the White Sox is probably guilty of bending the ethics of the game more so than other team.  Anyone remember Juan Uribe and the fake foul ball?

I wonder if this is Buehrle just acting out, because there is an inordinate amount of pressure on him to stop the White Sox current deplorable play.

Did you know that the Cleveland Indians are only 7 games out now?  You know who else is only 7 games out of the playoffs, I won't name them, since I don't want to jinx them.  But I never give up hope, even when their playoff chances have shrunk to .22058% !!!!

What do you expect?
The guy accused Maddux of throwing spitballs. ESPN had a lot
of fun with this , comparing to an Oliver Stone film

FYI I think you mean Cleveland's chances of winning the division. Their playoff chances are not bad as they are locked in a 3 way race and only one game behind

I was talking about our team's "chances"
which stand at .22058%, that would be less than 1%, but I wont name the team in fear of jinxing the rest of the season.

Buehrle...
... did this earlier this year when the Sox played the Cubs, accusing the Cubs of "cheating" in some way.

He's an ass. Let's hope he stays there instead of going to the team he has repeatedly said he'd rather play for, his hometown Cardinals. Imagine him and Matt Morris hating the Cubs on the same pitching staff. We'd never hear the end of the whining.

now to be known as...
The Waaaah Sox.

Can a team that collectively hits (.261/.320/.741) win a world series? I doubt it, especially if they play the A's.

If the Cubs could get out of an inning by taking less than 3 pitches, they would.

Waaaah Sox
Now that is funny! Thanks, CPC.

They won't...
I heard that not event their front office thinks they have a world series winner.

I'm cheering for Cleveland because they are definitely capable of winning the division, and the white sox are definitely capable of losing it.

It's yet another episode of "Outfield Adventures", starring Milton Bradley, as he'd lose this Jason Kendall-hit ball in the sun Friday against the Brewers.

Buster Olney said a few days ago that the Braves would entertain offers for their 26 year old shortstop (who makes 450k) Yunel Escobar. He is a plus bat, a solid defender, and would move Theriot to his more appropriate position at second.

They are looking for a bat in return. Apparently Cox doesn't like the guy.

I couldn't even speculate what we'd have to send them in return, but I think he would be a good fit given his low salary, his productive bat, his position, and his age. I don't care if he's a jerk if he makes the team win more.

What would it take?
