2005-06 Bleacher Reconstruction Timeline
Thanks to BCB reader Mike (not Mike who draws all the great cartoons here, but another Mike), who did all the HTML for me (worked his butt off, in fact, redoing some stuff when it didn't quite work right), I present this thumbnailed page of all the bleacher reconstruction photos.
If you click on each date, you'll get a page which begins with the first photo of that date, and you can navigate from there in sequence. Or you can start from the first photo and navigate sequentially through the entire list -- forward or backward. Or you can look at each of the photos individually. Or you can navigate back to the main page after looking at any individual photo.
As the project continues, I will continue to update this page. This link can also be found permanently located on the right sidebar.

Getting an error page
I also noticed this in the source:
<!-- Center content section -->
<H2>Permission Denied.</H2>
Just a friendly fyi.
Hmmm...
Let me check and try to fix it. Thanks.
I figured out the problem....
This will require redoing the HTML in each one of the pages. For now, you'll have to navigate back to the main picture page manually.
Sorry about that!

Bleacher salvage..
This isn't surprising...
The original wood benches installed in 1937 lasted until the mid-1970's when they were all replaced.
Thus, the ones removed this past fall were about thirty years old. Not surprising that some of the wood might have been unsalvageable.
Keep in mind...
If they want to make it look and feel the same as before, they'll have to replace the LF and RF benches with wood covered with plastic (actually, I think it's fiberglass).
