Tribune shout-out to Yellon...

The Tribune, well ChicagoSports.com, has an article entitled, "Blogosphere Therapy." I quickly perused the article searching for BleedCubbieBlue and finally Yellon gets a mention in the last paragraph.

Star-divide

From Al Yellon at BleedCubbieBlue.com: "[Lou] Piniella is the wrong guy for the Cubs. The last two managerial hires by the Cubs have been 'big names'--Baker and Don Baylor. I can see Hendry wanting to go in a different direction, especially after seeing managers like Mike Scioscia, Ken Macha, Ozzie Guillen, Eric Wedge and Ned Yost, all men with no managerial experience [before their hirings], having success [to varying degrees]."

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

If they're
paying attention to stuff like that, then maybe there should be a "Please sell the Cubs" messge in every post.

That's nothing.....
...you newbies here might not know, but Sports Illustrated gave the old blog "And ANother Thing!" a solid mention a year or two he moved to posting here. It's actually still up and the clock can tell you how long ago the 2005 season began.

It's in the dead tree edition too
I saw it this morning in the paper. I didn't have any time to really read the article, I was just looking for the BCB mention. Of course, it's the last one mentioned.

To all the new readers here from the Tribune, Welcome! We get all types here: trolls, homers (ie. Cubbies still have a chance! Remember the Astros!!11! Woo!), and Sox fans. Make yourself at home.

I was saying Boo-urns.

Maybe...
... they were posting the quotes in alphabetical order by the writer's last name... ;)

or...

... they saved the best for last!

:D
