Signed by the Cards to a minor league contract. Knowing TLR's love for Miles, there is a good chance that he'll be on the active roster by the time the Cards come to Wrigley in July.

This story was new to me. I guess Aaron Miles survived a crazy hostage situation in 2000 when he was in the Minor Leagues. Slezak has the whole story here. It's pretty scary, but Miles held his own. He gets some extra BCB Scrappy Points for this one.
