I currently work at Wrigley Field part time and construction the rest of the time, I will be going to school in the fall to pursue a degree in athletic training and hopefully one day you will see me on the field in the ugly dockers and polo shirts helping out the players at Wrigley.

Does anyone know of any good places to watch the Cubs in orange county? Is there anyone on BCB that lives in OC and is watching the game anywhere tonite? If so please let me know, it was hell last night being surrounded by Dodgers "fans" and having to watch my Cubs lose.

Does Anyone Else Think Ozzie Guillen Isn't Fit To Be An MLB Manager?
After his latest rant, I am really starting to think this guy isn't fit for the MLB he is so irrational and unprofessional it's almost comical. I know Lou has his occasional outbursts but, nothing compared to this guy, who is basically getting asked the very same questions as Lou, here is the link to his latest rant:
Your thoughts?

Another Mariotti Post
Just when I start to just tolerate the guy again, he goes and writes another article that just pisses me off. I know at this point that we are probably beating a dead horse with the whole Brennaman tirade, but it's pretty bad that someone in our own backyard agrees with and supports him.
Here is a link to the article:

Here is a sample:
But this season, Cubdom has entered the twilight zone. Barely a day passes without a fan making news, and if it's a reflection on society generally wigging out in the 21st century, also understand that Wrigley is supposed to be above such lunacy. It is marketed as a shrine and fan-friendly tourist attraction, yet it's much closer to an raucous beer garden filled with just enough jerks to spoil the reputation of a much larger percentage of good fans. If Sam Zell still wants to sell naming rights, he might try a rehab clinic.

Batter's Eye Lounge
Here is a response for everyone who is interested in renting the Batter's Eye Lounge at Wrigley for a private party. I spoke to my boss last night at work and he said the way it works is you can call (773) 404-2827, there is a 75 person minimum (the place only holds 100) and it is $245 for premium games a person and $225 a person for non-premium but this includes all of your food and beverages and you get to choose from a few different menu's. On the Cubs website it says something about $150 a person but my boss told me they consider just about every game a premium game. I'm thinking we need a bleedcubbieblue.com private party at the batter's eye lounge!

Home Plate Umpires
Was it just me, or was Alfonso Marquez extemely inconsistent in his calls yesterday? I am in no way, shape or form blaming him for the crazy game yesterday but it just seemed like he had no standards for his balls and strikes in fact it almost seems like the same pitches that were strikes one inning were balls the very next.....no wonder D. Lee got so pissed at him.....let me hear what you think

What Should Our Championship Song Be?
When we win the World Series, what should our championship song be? The white sox used a great song by a lame band, "Don't stop believing" we need to top that I am personally all for "Born To Run" by Bruce Springsteen.....your thoughts
