Earlier today I posted a comment on a Sports Illustrated article which stated that the NL would be playing entirely on grass fields for the first time since 1965.
I had said this was wrong, because Busch Stadium had grass until 1969.
It wasn't wrong. The Houston Astrodome -- how could I forget the Cubs' House of Pain? -- had attempted a grass field in 1965, but the grass all died, and of course, they were the first artificial-turf field in 1966, thus the name Astroturf.
Thanks to Gavin for pointing out my error.
