If the Cubs can win this afternoon, that's two straight series wins, and winning two of three for a while, will get the club back in contention quickly.

In other news, Todd Walker went to Iowa on Friday on rehab assignment. Last night, he went 0-for-3. Joe Borowski worked a scoreless inning with one walk. It's possible both players could rejoin the Cubs this upcoming weekend at Wrigley Field.
That script "W" still looks odd to me on the Nats' caps -- a remnant from the '60s. I like this one better -- and I suspect that someday, that might become their official logo.
