Open Thread: Cubs vs. Brewers, Monday 6/20

SOMEWHERE ON LONG ISLAND -- I am on vacation here with my wife, after that fiasco at Yankee Stadium over the weekend.

Thus, I will be unable to follow the Cubs except as many of you do -- via the Internet and highlight shows (the cable here doesn't have WGN).

If any of you are going to the games in Milwaukee, I would encourage you to post diaries on your experiences there.

In the meantime, let's win some games already.

Today's Starting Pitchers
Greg Maddux
G. Maddux
Cubs
vs. Tomo Ohka
T. Ohka
Brewers
5-4 W-L 5-3
4.68 ERA 2.86
53 SO 23
15 BB 27
12 HR 6

Tomo Ohka is a lucky guy -- he pissed off his manager in Washington (note Nats cap in photo, which isn't Yahoo's -- it's from Sportsline) by refusing to hand the ball to him when he was being taken out. A few days later he was traded to the Brewers for Junior Spivey, a trade that's worked well for both teams. He's faced the Cubs twice in his career with a 9.00 ERA. Time to get the bats rolling.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
