The MLB-Japan postseason exhibition series begins tonight -- actually, early tomorrow morning -- with the MLB team taking on the Yomiuri Giants at the Tokyo Dome. Here's the complete schedule:
|11/2, 3 a.m.||Tokyo Dome, Tokyo||MLB vs. Yomiuri|
|11/3, 3 a.m.||Tokyo Dome, Tokyo||MLB vs. NPB|
|11/4, 3:30 a.m.||Tokyo Dome, Tokyo||MLB vs. NPB|
|11/5, 3:30 a.m.||Tokyo Dome, Tokyo||MLB vs. NPB|
|11/7, 3 a.m.||Kyocera Dome, Osaka||MLB vs. NPB|
|11/8, 3 a.m.||Yahoo Dome, Fukuoka||MLB vs. NPB|
("NPB" is the Japanese All-Star team)
I don't think there's any TV coverage of this series, but the link above to the MLB page should get you up-to-date info.
None of the key Japanese players who are going to be posted are participating in this series, and the only Cub involved is Jacque Jones. Still, it's a week of baseball in November -- nothing wrong with that.
