David sent me a number of photos that were taken on Saturday, July 2, and Saturday, July 16, 2005. You can see that the Waveland-side brick wall did indeed have the "coping" effect that they are replicating in the new wall. The Sheffield-side wall did NOT have that effect and I believe they are building that wall to match.
All of these images are pretty self-explanatory and don't need captions, except for the last photo in the top row, taken during the 4-2 loss to the Nationals on July 2 -- that's us in the bottom of the frame, left to right from Jeff (in the blue cap), then Jon (white t-shirt), Mike (back to camera), me (sunglasses, khaki cap), Howard (blue cap), and Phil (dark hair, turned to me & Howard).
