They gave up early on this one; the Royals/Cubs game at Mesa was cancelled before noon. Spring training games don't get made up, so if you happen to be out there and had tickets for the game, you can get your money back at the Ho Ho Kam Park box office.

Greg Maddux will keep his scheduled start against the Brewers tomorrow; Angel Guzman, who was to start today, will also throw tomorrow.

As of this writing, the games between Colorado/Texas (Surprise), San Francisco/Oakland (Phoenix), and Los Angeles Angels/Milwaukee (Maryvale) have also been cancelled.

Have you seen this article about a new food item the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League will be offering?

The ballpark sandwich will include a hamburger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon -- all between a "bun" made of a sliced Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut.

Urp. Hope you've had your lunch already. Discuss amongst yourselves.
