vs. Wash -- vs. Cubs
Let's just forget about Marshall's last start, shall we?

Day's been on a curious odyssey -- he was traded from the Nats to the Rockies last year for Preston Wilson after a poor start. He pitched poorly for Colorado in a handful of starts in 2005, and again early this year. The Rockies waived him, and the Nats picked him up again. He's pitched pretty well in three Washington starts -- 1-1, 2.37 ERA.

Bruce Miles, in the Daily Herald, called the Cubs on the carpet today for various shortsighted decisions, many of which I do agree with -- particularly the Jacque Jones signing, which hurt the Cubs on many different levels.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
