Open Thread: Cubs vs. Marlins, Monday 5/22, 6:05 CT

Sean Marshall and Ricky Nolasco were teammates for parts of the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

In Double-A.

Now, they face each other in a major league game that'll be played in front of about 40,000 empty seats, a bunch of expatriate Cub fans, and the two or three Marlins fans that are left on the planet.

vs. Fla -- vs. Cubs
Marshall threw seven innings of two-hit, shutout ball against the Marlins at Wrigley Field on April 25. You know, back when the Cubs actually won a few games.

Nolasco threw two shutout innings against the Cubs in relief the following day, striking out four.

There are a lot of pretty bad player photos in Yahoo's portfolio. But I vote for Nolasco's as the worst.

Finally, if the Cubs win tonight, it will be Dusty Baker's 1115th managerial win, tying him for 43rd place on the all-time list with longtime Pirates manager Danny Murtaugh.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
