When I get older losing my hair many years from now
Will you still be sending me a valentine,
Birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
If I'd been out til quarter to three would you lock the door?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty-four?
This has nothing to do with baseball (or me, for that matter), but the author of that song, and a longtime favorite of mine, Paul McCartney, turns 64 today.

Meanwhile, there's a ballgame at Wrigley Field this afternoon, weather permitting.

Today's Starting Pitchers

vs. Det -- vs. Cubs
Rogers is going his 200th career win today. He has never faced the Cubs, although both Phil Nevin and Henry Blanco have homered off him.

Prior is making his 98th career start. If he'd not been hurt all this time, he should have made at least thirty more than that by now.

The last time the Cubs had a winless homestand of 6 or more games, was April 8-16, 1997, vs. Florida, Atlanta and Colorado. Let's keep that string intact.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
