Open Thread: Cubs vs. Brewers, Tuesday 9/26, 7:05 CT

Hey, everyone! Guess what? There's a baseball game tonight involving our favorite team!

Yes, I know they have sucked this year, but baseball is still baseball, the weather's nice today, and the season shall soon end, so why not take a look? Something historic might happen.

Juan Pierre needs four hits to get to 200 for the season; no Cub has done this in 22 years, since Ryne Sandberg in 1984.

For those interested, the rotation for the remaining four games after tonight has been announced:

Tomorrow: Rich Hill
Friday: Carlos Zambrano
Saturday: Juan Mateo
Sunday: Wade Miller

Today's Starting Pitchers
Sean Marshall
S. Marshall
Cubs
vs. Carlos Villanueva
C. Villanueva
Brewers
5-9 W-L 1-1
5.64 ERA 3.35
74 SO 30
56 BB 9
19 HR 5
vs. Mil -- vs. Cubs

I confess I know little about Villanueva; he has thrown well since his recall two weeks ago. His one really bad start was against the Twins during their hot streak in June.

Marshall, despite having made 23 starts, has never faced the Brewers.

Have a look at those photos. Neither one of them looks very happy, do they?
