Last week, Anthony Andro, a sportswriter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, posted this diary asking how we, as long-suffering Cubs fans, would advise Rangers fans (who are fans of a team that, in its 35 seasons in Texas and eleven before that as the second incarnation of the Washington Senators, has never won a playoff series) how to "hang in there".
Well, we all made the paper. Here's his article, titled "Losing 101: Cubs fans give advice", listing the "top 20" choices on how to cope -- many of you will recognize the responsed you gave in the BCB diary.
Incidentally, Andro told me when I spoke to him on the phone last week that the article is also going to appear on the front page of the dead-tree edition of the paper today; so if you are in the DFW area or know anyone who lives there, or is going to be there for the series, you can have them pick up a copy for you.
Now let's go out and sweep their team, which currently sports the worst record in baseball. Feels familiar, doesn't it?
