The Cubs have invited 19 non-roster players (seems like kind of a lot, doesn't it?) to camp this year:
Seven pitchers: lefthanders Ed Campusano, Geoff Jones and Les Walrond and righthanders Esmailin Caridad, Jose Ceda, Chad Fox and Mike Smith.
Four catchers: Welington Castillo, JD Closser, Josh Donaldson and Koyie Hill.
Five infielders: Andres Blanco, Luis Figueroa, Micah Hoffpauir, Casey McGehee and Bobby Scales.
Three outfielders: Tyler Colvin, Josh Kroeger and Andres Torres.
Four catchers: Welington Castillo, JD Closser, Josh Donaldson and Koyie Hill.
