SB Nation bloggers correctly recognized that Felix Hernandez was the best pitcher in the American League in 2010, despite his pedestrian 13-12 won-lost record, compiled largely because the Mariners were a horrific offensive team. Hernandez had the second-lowest run support of any AL starter and the bottom four (of 63 qualified starters) were all Mariners.
The rest of the AL vote was split between quite a number of pitchers. As an NL blog, BCB did not get a vote here, but if I had a vote it would have been: Hernandez, Price, Buchholz, Lee and Sabathia.
