As we have done here for the past few years, BCB is going to mirror MLB.com's Free Agent Frenzy contest with one of our own.
This year, MLB.com has 12 free agents to choose from; we'll use the same 12 choices. Pick the team you think the free agent is going to sign with and then rank them by "confidence" level, in other words, how sure you are that the player is going to sign with the team you picked. For example, Adam Dunn is one of the players. If you are 100% sure he's going to sign with the Cubs, you'd give him 12 points. If you think he's going to sign with the Cubs but are really unsure of this, you might give that one only one point.
Leave your picks in the comments to this post. The contest is officially open now and comments will be closed, and the contest end, at 5 pm CST on Wednesday, Nov. 24. The prize is a copy of "The Cubs: The Complete Story of Cubs Baseball" by Glenn Stout and Richard A. Johnson. The prize will be awarded to the person who has the most points either when all 12 are signed, or if some are still unsigned, on March 1, 2011.
This year, participation is subject to these official rules for the contest. After the jump, the 12 free agents to rank.
