Comcast Can't Help Cubs Bullpen - But They Have A Deal For You!

As you may or may not already know, cable giant Comcast is not only a major sponsor of SB Nation and this site, but also a partner in the company.

Since none of SBN would be possible without money to pay our outstanding tech team, I'm grateful for that support.

Yes, they are paying me for this post. (This is a sponsored post.) No, I'm not going to tell you how much. (Trust me, it's not enough to retire on.) But there's also something in it for you, the baseball fan. After the jump, you'll see their offer.

Here’s the pitch:

1) If you are a current Comcast customer they are offering you this sweet deal: Digital Preferred TV with MLB Network for only $9.99 a month for the first six months

2) If you are not yet a Comcast customer the deal is even better: You can switch from Dish Network or AT&T and get MLB Extra Innings for the low, low price of FREE!!! And we all know how good FREE is!

Only Comcast brings you MLB Extra Innings and their great coverage of MLB Network. Dish Network and AT&T U-Verse can’t say that!!!

To take part in this offer, pick up your phone and dial 1-800-COMCAST.

MLB EI is great to have, especially for those of you outside the Chicago area, to follow the Cubs. I have bought it for four years even though I do live in Chicago, just because I love the game and like to watch other teams. And no, Comcast didn't pay me to say that.

Comcast didn't pay me to say this either: I am a Comcast subscriber. About three years ago I switched all my services (cable, internet, phone) to them. I did have a few issues, but they were all resolved to my satisfaction and the combined bill saves me quite a bit of money.

Pitch over. (Ha! "Pitch". Get it?) We now return you to your regularly scheduled baseball blog.
