TV Games Added To MLBN Schedule: Cubs vs. Reds at Mesa Preview, Monday 3/29, 3:05 CT

The following April Cubs games, all of which will air in Chicago on CSN, will now be available nationally on the MLB Network:

4/8 vs. Braves
4/16 vs. Astros
4/30 vs. Diamondbacks

The April 8 game will be MLBN's "Thursday Night Baseball" and have MLBN announcers; the other two will be feeds picked up from one of the teams (at this time, I don't know which one). All three will be blacked out in the local markets of the teams (where, presumably, you can watch on a local channel). Good news for those of you outside Chicago who don't have EI, but do have MLBN.

It's finally going to be hot the next couple of days in the Valley of the Sun, with temperatures in the upper 80's, maybe touching 90. However, looking ahead, this forecast says it's going to get very windy by Wednesday and there's a pretty good chance that Thursday's Cactus League finale might be rained out.

Randy Wells will go for the Cubs this afternoon against the Reds' Carlos Fisher. Yes, I had to look up Fisher, too. He's a relief pitcher. Via this post from reds.com beat reporter Mark Sheldon (where you can also get the Reds lineup for today), he says today is a "bullpen day" for the Reds -- Fisher will go two innings, followed by five other relievers.

Cubs lineup via tweet from Carrie:

SS Theriot, RF Fukudome, LF Colvin, CF Byrd, 1B Hoffpauir, 2B Fontenot, 3B Tracy, C Soto, P Wells. No D-Lee (foot)

Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today. It's the Brennamans only for audio today, via WLW. Amuse yourself by counting the number of times Marty slams the Cubs or Cubs fans.
