Let's Go Blackhawks! Cubs vs. Marlins Preview, Tuesday 5/11, 7:05 CT

Since I figure most of you will be switching away from the Cubs game at 8:30 CDT tonight to watch the Blackhawks, I thought I'd post a headline and photo of the hockey team we're all behind -- at least there's something everyone here can agree on, right? I really don't have a whole lot to say about the Cubs right now.

Exercise for the Cubs pregame: which Blackhawks player would you compare to which Cubs player? Be nice.

Ricky Nolasco has made six starts this season. Two have been excellent, two mediocre, and two bad -- so who knows which Nolasco we'll see tonight. Also, he had two starts vs. the Cubs last year -- one good, and one bad. Current Cubs are hitting .314 against him (16-for-51) with five HR, three of which have been hit by Alfonso Soriano. Soriano's hot right now -- let's hope this continues.

Randy Wells had the worst start of his career in his last outing against the Pirates. Enough of that. He has never faced the Marlins nor anyone on their current roster. Sometimes that's advantage pitcher -- sometimes not.

Original schedules have tonight's game on CSN -- due to the Blackhawks game, it has been moved to CSN Chicago Plus. "Check local listings." It's also on FSN Florida. Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today.
