The Iowa Cubs six game winning streak came to an end as they went bust against the Reno Aces, 3-1.
Starter J.R. Mathes got the loss, as he allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings. Mathes walked one and struck out four.
Jay Jackson pitched another two innings of shutout relief. He gave up one hit and struck out one.
Third baseman Matt Camp was 2 for 4 with an RBI. First baseman Bryan LaHair went 2 for 4.

Got rained out. At least some of them went to see Robin Hood.
Daytona Cubs
The Daytona Cubs were beaten by the St. Lucie Mets, 5-3
Starter Dae-Eun Rhee pitched five shutout innings He gave up only three hits. He walked three and struck out three. Oswaldo Martinez got the loss after allowing two runs over two innings. Martinez gave up two hits, walked one and struck out one.
Third baseman DJ LeMahieu went 2 for 4 with a triple and an RBI. SS Ryan Flaherty went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. First baseman Rebel Ridling had a double, a run scored and an RBI in a 2 for 3 game. He also walked once. Center fielder Jose Valdez was 2 for 4.
Peoria ChiefsThe Chiefs stung the Burlington Bees, 8-1.
Starter Jeffry Antigua went five shutout innings for his first win of the season. Antigua allowed only two hits. He walked four, however, and also struck out four.
Second baseman Logan Watkins was perfect with a 4 for 4 game. He doubled and tripled. Watkins scored twice and had one RBI. The one RBI was a sac fly. Third baseman Greg Rohan was also perfect, going 3 for 3 with a double and a sac fly. He had two RBI and scored twice.
First baseman Justin Bour went 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Left fielder Nelson Perez, who was demoted from Daytona this weekend, went 2 for 5 and scored once. Catcher Mario Mercedes was 2 for 4 and scored once.
