Iowa Cubs
The Iowa Cubs were shut down by the New Orleans Zephyrs, 3-0.
Starter Mike Parisi took the loss, allowing two runs in three innings of work. He surrendered four hits and issued two walks. Parisi struck out five.
Shortstop Darwin Barney remained hot, going 2 for 4 with a triple.

Daytona Cubs
The D-Cubs were strafed by the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 7-3.
The bad Brooks Raley showed up today, who has been on an on/off pattern over his past four starts. Today he allowed seven runs on eight hits, including one home run, in only three innings. One of the runs was unearned. Raley walked three and struck out two.
Second baseman DJ LeMaheiu was 2 for 4 with a run scored. Third baseman Josh Vitters made a lot of people around here happy today by going 1 for 2 with two walks. Vitters also stole a base and scored twice.
Peoria Chiefs
The Peoria Chiefs detasseled the Cedar Rapids Kernels, 6-4.
Starter Su-Ming Jung improved his record to 4-0 tonight by pitching five innings and giving up two runs, both of which were unearned. Jung allowed three hits, issued one walk and struck out three. He was a bit wild as he had two wild pitches and one hit batter.
Jordan Latham got save number seven tonight. He allowed two hits over 1.2 innings, but no runs. He did not record a walk or a strikeout.
Second baseman Logan Watkins went 2 for 4 with a double and a stolen base. Watkins scored once and knocked one in.
Peoria improved their home record to 13-1 so far this season.
