Not me, of course. I'm going to watch this game. It's kind of like "Mission: Impossible" -- you know how it's going to end, but you watch because you want to see how they do it, because they come up with new and interesting ways of doing the same thing in each episode.
However, if you've had enough, here are some TV choices you could make at 2:30 CDT (or before), some sports-related, some not:
1 pm, ESPNU: Wimbledon coverage continues; you may still be able to see the suspended match from yesterday. Think of it as extra innings.
1 pm, ESPN: World Cup Soccer, Denmark vs. Japan. Either or both could score more runs than the Cubs.
2 pm, GOLF: First-round action in the Travelers Championship. The golfers will hit balls farther than the Cubs will.
3 pm, Travel Channel: "Ribs Paradise": the country's best places for ribs (snack break)
3 pm, BBC America: "Primeval", a series set in an era before the Cubs last won the World Series
Anytime, The Weather Channel: Storms are forecast on the East Coast today. There may be more action here than when the Cubs are batting.
Hey, look. If we can't laugh about this...

Here's a delightful thought: Felix Hernandez has the worst record of any of the three pitchers to face the Cubs in this series. He has never faced the Cubs; as has been the case during this year's interleague schedule, along with other AL West pitchers, he's faced Marlon Byrd quite a bit (4-for-20, two doubles). He has 63 career wins and is only 24 years old.
Ted Lilly has 15 career starts vs. the Mariners, but none since 2006. Current Mariners are hitting .245 (25-for-102), and the Mariner he's faced the most is Ichiro Suzuki (10-for-32, all singles). In fact, Ichiro and Jose Lopez are the only Mariners left from Ted's last start in Seattle on September 11, 2006.
Today's game is on CSN Chicago and FSN Northwest. Here is the complete MLB.com Mediacenter for today.

Today's first pitch thread will be up at 2:30 pm CDT, and the overflows will post at 3:45, 4:45 and 5:30 pm CDT.
