Carlos Marmol Signs Three-Year Deal With Cubs For $20 Million

Carlos Marmol has been signed, acording to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, via Twitter:

Gordon Wittenmyer of the Sun-Times reports further details:

The three-year deal could be worth around $23 million.

If that number is true -- or close to true -- that's a perfectly reasonable deal for Marmol, to buy out his arb years. It also gives the Cubs a solid closer for the next three years, home grown in the farm system.
