Single-game tickets for this year's Cubs games go on sale this morning at the Wrigley Field box office at 8 a.m. CST for people who have wristband numbers between 01937 and 04111. I'd expect those numbers to expand fairly quickly to include all wristband holders, and probably later today, the box office will be open to anyone.

The dreaded VWR will open at 10 a.m. CST for sales to everyone; also, phone sales start at that time. The numbers are 800-THE-CUBS (800-843-2827) if you live in Illinois and 866-652-2827 if you're calling from out of state.

This post is for commiserating about having to wait endlessly in the VWR, for your success stories, and discussion of ticket sales today. Reminder, if you are looking to buy or sell tickets from another BCB reader, post your requests here; soon, I'll open up more specific posts for each homestand.

Good luck!
