The Giants will try to even up the NLCS against the Cardinals Monday night. This is the first postseason day on which there's just one game, so enjoy.

If you haven't yet seen it, please check out my latest diatribe on replay review, written for Baseball Nation this morning. There really is no longer any excuse for not having review for every play other than balls and strikes, and beginning it at the start of the 2013 season.

I still think the Giants are going to win the NLCS, but they are simply going to have to get better pitching. They can't put themselves in the same 2-0 hole the Yankees are in, then head to St. Louis. No team has ever lost the first two games of a LCS at home, then come back to win the series. So the Giants really do have to win tonight, or they'd be forced to do something that's never been done before in order to make the World Series.
