SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- Everything seemed to be in order... got in an hour earlier than expected due to taking the scenic route into the Phoenix area. Got everything organized, wrote a recap of Sunday's game, woke up ready to go to Mesa today...

... sick as a dog. You don't want the details, trust me. So I'll be listening to the game via MLB.com audio like the rest of you.

Today's the day that spring training games move to 3:05 instead of 2:05 -- with the time change. (There are a couple of exceptions, I'll note them when they happen.)

Cubs lineup:

Jackson rf, Byrd cf, Stewart 3b, Soriano lf, LaHair 1b, Soto c, Barney 2b, Clevenger dh, Lake ss

Reds lineup:

Phillips 2b, Cozart ss, Cairo 1b, Frazier lf, Francisco 3b, Ludwick dh, Valdez cf, Hanigan c, Jones rf

Paul Maholm makes his Cubs spring debut; he'll be opposed by the Reds' Bronson Arroyo. Among other Reds pitchers we will see this afternoon will be our old friend Sean Marshall.

Today's game is on WGN radio. Pat Hughes has the day off; Len Kasper will call play-by-play with Keith Moreland. Here is the MLB.com Mediacenter for today.

Note that for spring training gameday links, you probably will not get pitch-by-pitch as during the regular season; these are unofficial links. Each play will be posted, but might not be updated until after each half-inning.

There will be one overflow thread, which will post at 4:30 pm CT. The "Recent Stories in Game Threads" box on the sidebar is where you'll find it.

Please visit our SB Nation Reds site Red Reporter. I'd be careful there, too. They don't seem to like us much.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
