Rosters were announced Wednesday for the Arizona Fall League. Prospects sent to this league generally represent teams' top prospects; many of them wind up playing in the major leagues the following season.

Javier Baez, who blew away Midwest League pitching this season before getting promoted to Daytona (where he's barely played due to all the rainouts), will head the list of Cubs prospects going to the AFL. Matt Szczur, who could be part of a September callup as soon as next year, will also go.

Other Cubs prospects heading to the AFL, whose schedule begins in early October and ends just before Thanksgiving, are:

Dae-Eun Rhee (RHP)
Kevin Rhoderick (RHP)
Zach Rosscup (LHP)
Nick Struck (RHP)
Tony Zych (RHP)
Rubi Silva (OF)

Here is the complete roster of the Mesa Solar Sox, the team Cubs prospects will play for. Home games are played at HoHoKam Park in Mesa.
