N.L. Wild Card Game: Reds vs. Pirates, Tuesday 10/1, 7 p.m. CT

It's still kind of hard for me to root for the Pirates, because of what they did to the Cubs back in the 1970s. But that was decades ago, and the Bucs are a great story this year.

And they're playing the Reds. What other reason does any Cubs fan need?

Francisco Liriano and Johnny Cueto combined this year for five starts against the Cubs. They pitched 41 innings with a 1.98 ERA and 0.976 WHIP against the Cubs.

And tonight, one guy's team is going home for the winter, and the Cubs won't be the losing team! Also, they both wear No. 47. Brian Bogusevic would be proud.
