Day baseball is always fun, whether it's at Wrigley Field or another ballpark; I personally love watching baseball in sunshine (though today's game, at Comerica Park in Detroit, starting at 4 p.m. ET, will be played mostly in shadow).
Not only do we get day baseball today, but tomorrow as well; Wednesday's matchups will be flipped time-wise, with the N.L. game during the day (at 1 p.m. PT, so played mostly in sunshine) and the A.L. game at night.
The Tigers look to take a 2-1 series lead behind Justin Verlander, who has been outstanding in the postseason. The Dodgers are looking to tie the NLCS up and make it a best-of-three. Ricky Nolasco and Lance Lynn, whose numbers are shown below, had about the most identical seasons you could imagine; Lynn struck out more hitters and Nolasco walked fewer, otherwise they're pretty much the same.
Two baseball games! Have fun. And in case you missed the whole story about the Dodger Dancing Bear (shown above), Amanda Rykoff has the scoop (with photos and video).
