Jorge Soler, Kris Bryant and Albert Almora in a baseball championship game.
This is what we all hope to see, the three of them and others, leading the Cubs to such a game at Wrigley Field in the near future.
In the interim, you'll get to see the three of them in action this afternoon in the Arizona Fall League championship game, playing for the Mesa Solar Sox, from Scottsdale Stadium against the Surprise Saguaros. In addition to the Cubs, the Solar Sox have prospects from the Angels, Athletics, Nationals and Tigers. The Saguaros' prospects come from the Brewers, Indians, Orioles, Rangers and Red Sox.
Game time is 2 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on MLB Network and streamed live at MLB.com. If you can't get either of those, follow along via this Gameday link. Mesa will be the "road" team and bat first.
Let's go Solar Sox! Bring home the AFL title, and here's hoping for some good performances from Bryant, Soler and Almora, as well as righthander Dallas Beeler, who will be the starting pitcher for Mesa.
