Cubs 2014 Spring-Training Schedule

We've just seen the last baseball in Arizona for 2013, the AFL championship game, and now it's time to start thinking about spring training. With perfect timing, the Cubs released the 2014 spring-training schedule, the first at what I've been calling NCSTF (New Cubs Spring Training Facility); the release calls it "Cubs Park". Unless the Cubs can sell naming rights, that's likely what its name will be, at least for this year. There's a total of 36 preseason games: 16 at Mesa, 16 Cactus League road games, two in Las Vegas, and two at Chase Field. Here's some additional info:

Individual game tickets for the 2014 Chicago Cubs home spring training games at Cubs Park will go on sale Saturday, January 11 at 11 a.m. CT at the Cubs Park ticket office, at cubs.com or by calling 1-800-THE-CUBS.

Season tickets at Cubs Park are on sale now and group tickets go on sale Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. CT by calling 1-800-THE-CUBS.

This post will be on the front page under "Really Important BCB Stuff" through spring training. I don't have pitcher/catcher or full-squad reporting dates yet, but will post them when I get them. Figure they're probably about two weeks before the first game for pitchers and catchers, maybe 3-4 days after that for the full squad.

All games through Saturday 3/8 are at 2:05 p.m. CST, and all games Sunday 3/9 and later are at 3:05 p.m. CDT, unless otherwise noted. (ss) denotes split squad.
