After Tuesday night's rainout on the South Side, the last thing anyone connected with the Cubs and White Sox likely wants to read is this weather forecast:
A 5O percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 84. South southwest wind around 1O mph.
Given the lack of makeup dates, they'll do everything they can to get this one in. Note that in that forecast link, there's a chance of rain listed for every day of this brief five-game Cubs homestand -- meaning there's a risk of having some of the games of the Diamondbacks series delayed or postponed, too. This is payback, apparently, for last year's drought.
Cubs lineup:
DeJesus CF, Castro SS, Rizzo 1B, Soriano LF, Hairston RF, Navarro C, Valbuena 3B, Barney 2B, Feldman P
The White Sox lineup was not available at the time I wrote this post. Check the BCB Twitter feed for the White Sox lineup.

Scott Feldman last faced the White Sox July 4, 2012 at the Cell. Six innings, four earned runs. Not great, not horrendous. That's pretty much been Feldman's career. Current White Sox players are 29-for-107 (.271) against him with five home runs. Sounds about right. Let's hope he impresses the scouts today.
John Danks is making his second start after missing a year with shoulder surgery. In fact, his final start of 2012 was this one at Wrigley Field May 19, 2012; he threw 6⅓ scoreless innings. Current Cubs, though, are hitting .318 (21-for-66) against him. Perhaps we're not doomed today.
Today's game is on CSN Chicago. It's also on WGN with the Sox announcers.

Baseball-reference.com game preview
Please visit our SB Nation White Sox site South Side Sox. Be careful over there, though.
Here's the scoop on game threads for 2013. You'll find the game preview -- like this one -- posting as the first link in the StoryStream™, which will then contain all the overflow threads and the recap. The recap will also be on the front page as a separate post; once I post a game recap, the stream for each game will be retitled "Cubs vs. (Team) (Day of Week) Game Threads" so you can go back and find every thread related to that particular game.
In general, game previews will post two hours before game time. Exception: for day games after night games, that will usually be 90 minutes.
You will also be able to find the First Pitch Thread and all the overflow threads in the box marked "Chicago Cubs Game Threads" at the bottom of the front page (you can also find them in this section link). They will also appear in this StoryStream™. As I've done for each regular-season game for several years now, we'll have the First Pitch thread at five minutes before game time (moved up from actual game time per your requests), then an overflow one hour, two hours and 2:45 after game time.
Discuss amongst yourselves.
